December Cat Blogging

Also, snow:

This was the view from our deck yesterday morning.  It’s half-melted now, but still lovely.  The footprints belong to the neighbor’s hounds, who roam pretty freely around here given that nobody has fences except for livestock.  I like the dogs okay, but the deposits they leave in our yard…less so.

Inside the house, it’s all kittens, all the time:

DSCN0266Love Fizzgig.  LOVE HIM.

Fizzgig, who has the intelligence and temperament of a border collie in addition to having the markings (interspecies farm lovin’? I won’t judge), is learning how to play fetch:

DSCN0270“Deliver mousie, get skritches.  I can deal with this!”

Edgar, our roommate’s kitten, is less interested in the mousies-for-skritches transaction:

DSCN0271“No thanks.  I see what you did to Fizzgig’s dignity.”

You’re one to talk about dignity, Edgar….

DSCN0278I’m almost certain they fell asleep mid-pummeling one another.  :)

Oh no — that last photo has to be the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.
